Legitimate Accrediting
Always look for a school with recognized accreditation. The DETC Accrediting Commission is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and by the U.S. Department of Education, so if you see this, the school's accreditation is legitimate. Schools without legitimate accreditation are not recognized by most other schools, and the credits you earn there probably will not transfer to legitimately accredited universities.
